Before Running Vizard

Vizard must be run from the PowerWall head node: boba142.

 ssh -XY boba142.sinrg
Be sure the $DISPLAY variable is set to your local display. If you used ssh to run Vizard from the boba machine, your $DISPLAY should look something like localhost:10.0.

You must now set the following environment variables:

LOCALDISPLAY

See here for details. You will need to add:
 setenv LOCALDISPLAY $DISPLAY
to your .cshrc file, or a similar command if you are using another shell. The LOCALDISPLAY is neccessary for DMX to run it's console window on your local monitor if you used ssh.
