Pixel Blaster Scripts

 

Here are some helpful setup scripts that will make running Pixel Blaster easier.
Please refer to the View Images and View Movies sections for instructions on how to run Pixel Blaster with these images and movies.

Please edit the directories, which have been indicated with <path_to_*> and <username>. These shell scripts can be placed anywhere you'd like.

These are almost identical to the Chromium startup scripts, except they use Chromium 1.2:

vwall: Holds the list of boba machine numbers.
setup_npb.sh: Runs the setup_npb_client.sh script on each boba machine, then starts crappfaker.
setup_npb_client.sh: Sets path variables, runs vidwal script, and sends crserver commands.

New files that will be helpful when running movies:

cluster_make_dir.sh: Makes the directories for write mode to distribute .ppm frames.
cluster_clean_dir.sh: Removes the .ppm files npb created.
write_pb.sh: Starts Chromium with test_npb.conf in Write mode to distribute .ppm frames.
run _pb.sh: Starts Chromium with test_npb.conf in Distribute mode to view movie after Write.

Here are some example files using the above scripts:

write_npbtest.sh: Example script to create 'npbtest' scratch directories and distribute .ppm files.
run_npbtest.sh: Example script to run 'npbtest' after .ppm files are distributed.
